Ethel May Whittier, the daughter of Samuel D and Agnes H (McDonald) Whittier married Alexander Taggart on 11/4/1907. After Alexander died in 1942 Ethel married Ernest Leroy Matthews in Newburyport, MA in 1945. When Ernest died in Waltham, MA in 1952, Ethel eventually moved back to Nashua where she died in 1968 and was buried next to Alexander.
